HOW DO THE FLAGS WORK? It is similar to flag football. There are opportunities to obtain replacement flags on the course by visiting a “Survivor Zone.”

HOW SHOULD MY FLAG BELT BE WORN?
A true survivor earns their ranking as "alive"– do not cheat yourself! One flag should be placed on each of your hips. You may not tuck your flags into your clothing, or you will be automatically disqualified. All flags should be visible AT ALL TIMES.

WHAT HAPPENS IF ALL OF MY LIFE FLAGS HAVE BEEN TAKEN BY THE ZOMBIES? Be sure to stop at a Survival Zone to answer an emergency preparedness question to receive another life flag. You cannot take another runner's flags, chase other runners, or pick up flags off of the ground. If you enter the Safe Zone and cross the finish line without any health flags, you will have an opportunity to survive by visiting the emergency preparedness booths.
